Motor Options for Disc Mulchers

The SK Disc Mulcher Pro X provides more power than a typical attachment due to inertia built up in the disc. Like other Diamond attachments, the Disc Mulcher is powered by a hydraulic motor, which comes with substantial advantages.

The SK Disc Mulcher 60 Pro X is available with four different motor options. Options include a gear motor and two piston motors – the P125 and P160 and the Belt Drive.

Note: The gear motor comes standard on both the 48” and 60” Disc Mulcher.

Four Point® Hardened Steel Teeth

Acting like an axe to slice material for the most productive cut, this aggressive design allows you to grab and pull in material more effectively. These teeth can be sharpened and rotated to increase efficiency and productivity, as well as lengthen tooth life.

Fixed teeth located on the inside of the deck shell, which mulches material as the disc carries it through

Twin Maul® Carbide Teeth Usage with Disc Mulcher

Working in more rocky terrain? Try adding the Twin Maul Carbine Teeth along side your 4-Point Teeth. When installing Twin Maul® Carbine Teeth on the Forestry Disc Mulcher, it is important you place them on the underside of the disc only. Learn more about Twin Maul tooth placement

By keeping the Four-Point Hardened Steel Teeth on the cutting edge of the disc, you have an essential sharp edge to slice through trees. Additionally, it allows you to more effectively use the Cut and Feed and Vertical Mulch operating techniques.
